Empower YOUR Clinical & Reception Staff to Take Ownership of Their Roles.
Help your clinical & reception staff to think of themselves as owners of their own sphere of the practice. This means training them to take ownership of their role. It will make them much more autonomous & it will deliver better outcomes for the patients of the practice as well as delivering better business outcomes.
Discourage excuses, blaming and passing on mistakes to someone else. You can instil a culture in your clinic where everyone is encouraged to act as a clinic owner in their own role by being fully accountable to themselves for their efforts and results. Of course it is very important to hire the right staff in the first place as best you can, then give them room to manoeuvre and then show them that you trust them. This will also enable you to retain good staff members for longer periods of time.
